The short version. Use WriterPi to help you write. Don't abuse it, don't resell it, don't try to break it. Pay for the plan you use. Refunds are available within 7 days if you've barely used the plan (under 10% of your message allowance). India-law applies.
WriterPi is a browser extension and companion website that gives you AI-powered writing, reading and form-filling help on any web page. The service routes your messages to large language models (currently OpenAI and Anthropic) and returns their replies inside the extension.
You sign in with your email address. We send a 6-digit code to verify it. You're responsible for keeping the email account itself secure. If someone else has access to your email, they could sign in as you — so use a real, current address.
You must be at least 13 to use WriterPi. If you're under the age of majority in your country, use it with a parent or guardian's consent.
The current plans and prices are listed on writerpi.com. By placing an order via Razorpay you agree to be charged the price shown at checkout.
We want you on a plan that fits — so refunds are simple, but not unlimited:

To request a refund: email hello@writerpi.com from the address tied to the account with the Razorpay transaction id (you'll find it on the writerpi.com account page or in Razorpay's payment email). We'll process eligible refunds within 5 business days. The refund returns to the original payment method via Razorpay; bank settlement times vary.
We do not offer pro-rated refunds for mid-cycle plan changes. If you upgrade Pro → Max in the middle of the month, contact us and we'll issue a one-time coupon for the unused portion of the older plan.

We can suspend or close any account that violates these rules. For clear-cut abuse there's no refund.
WriterPi sends your inputs to large language models. They can be wrong, biased, out of date, or simply make things up. Do not rely on AI output for medical, legal, financial, or other high-stakes decisions without verifying it yourself. You're responsible for the final content you send, post, sign, or otherwise act on.
You keep all rights to what you type into WriterPi and to what the AI generates in response to your prompts. You grant us a minimal, temporary licence to transmit that content to the AI provider so they can produce a reply. We do not store the content of your conversations after the reply is returned.
The AI providers (OpenAI / Anthropic) handle data under their own policies; we recommend reviewing them once if your use is sensitive.
We try to keep WriterPi running, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. The backend, AI providers, payment processor, and email provider all need to be up. If anything is down for more than a few hours we'll do our best to communicate over email.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WriterPi's total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages (lost profits, lost opportunities, etc.).
You can stop using WriterPi any time. You can email hello@writerpi.com to have your account fully deleted. We can suspend or terminate the service to anyone who violates these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of India.
If we change these terms in a way that materially affects you, we'll email the address on file. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version.
