Signs your AI comment reads like AI (and what to fix)

• Starts with "This is an interesting perspective" → rewrite to start with your actual point.
• Contains "In my opinion" or "It's important to note" → cut. Redditors just say it.
• All sentences roughly the same length → break it up. Real humans write short. Sentences. Sometimes fragments.
• Uses the phrase "leverage" or "utilize" → nobody on Reddit says these words. Use "use".
• Perfectly balanced pros/cons in 4 sentences → real Redditors have opinions. Pick one side.

The one-question test before you post

Read the draft out loud. If you sound like a LinkedIn thought leader, delete it and start over. Reddit rewards specificity, opinion, and self-deprecation. It punishes polished neutrality.
